About/CV

Kellsie Moore (b. 1989, Minnesota, USA) is an interdisciplinary artist based in Colorado. Working primarily in acrylic on raw canvas and linen, Moore creates abstract paintings distinguished by layered surfaces, tactile texture, earth-toned palettes, and gestural movement.

Her practice draws on anthropology, travel, and lived experience to examine belonging, memory, identity, and the relationship between people and place. Her current body of work, Becoming Home, extends these concerns through raw surfaces, charcoal, mineral pigments, and neutral compositions that consider how place becomes internalized.

Moore holds a B.A. in Anthropology with a minor in Visual Arts from the University of Northern Colorado, where she received the President's Leadership Honors distinction. Her work has been included in juried and invitation-only exhibitions, and she previously served as an Artist-in-Residence for the internationally touring Immersive Van Gogh exhibition. Her work is held in private collections in the United States.
